Barcelona R Ranch provides Peruvian Horse training, breeding and related services from our 10-acre ranch in Webster, Florida.
Our Central Florida location allows us to work with owners throughout Sumter County, the greater Ocala equestrian community and other parts of the state. Approved horses may also come to the ranch from outside Florida when training space is available and arrangements are made in advance.
Our trainer, Luis Vigo Saucedo, has 15 years of experience working with Peruvian Horses in Peru, Ecuador and the United States. He provides halter, bozal, bit and show training based on the individual horse’s age, experience, temperament and future purpose.
Ranch visits and horse arrivals must be arranged in advance.

Barcelona R Ranch is located at 991 County Road 722 in Webster, Florida, in Sumter County.
Our 10-acre property provides a dedicated setting for Peruvian Horse training, boarding, breeding and development. Horses remain at the ranch during their training program so Luis can work with them consistently and adjust the program as they progress.
Our location provides a Central Florida option for owners who want a trainer focused primarily on the Peruvian Horse. Young, unstarted and experienced horses may be considered for halter, bozal, bit and show training. Paso Finos may also be considered with prior approval.
Owners are welcome to schedule visits while their horses are at the ranch. Visits and horse arrivals must be arranged in advance.

Halter and Foundational Training
Young and unstarted horses can begin by learning to be handled, lead properly and respond calmly before progressing to more advanced work.
Bozal Training
During the traditional bozal stage, Luis works on communication, responsiveness and balance while allowing each horse time to understand what is being asked.
Bit Training
As the horse moves into bit, the work becomes more refined and is adjusted to its maturity, ability and intended use.
Show Training and Preparation
Luis prepares Peruvian Horses for competition and may present client horses when arrangements are made in advance.

Before arranging transportation, we will talk with you about your horse, its current training and what you hope to accomplish. This helps us determine whether the program is a good fit and prepare for a safe, organized arrival at our Webster ranch.
